The villagers who were being accused of being attacked by wolves, the tehsil and forest department team found out that the attack was by a civet cat. The team members heaved a sigh of relief when the matter was clarified.
Here, the noise of wolf attack on the people working in the fields in Mansoorganj and Gudwara villages was cut off when the zonal chief of the forest department Vijay Singh reached the spot with a joint team of SDM judicial Pramod Kumar, SDO Vijay Kumar Ranger Vaibhav Chaudhary and showed the photographs of wild animals to the injured.
In which they identified the grave badger and said that it was this wild animal who had bitten. The team also collected information from the villagers and recorded their statements. When the matter of grave badger attack came to light, all the officers heaved a sigh of relief and gave instructions to catch the grave badger. And they also made the villagers aware to be cautious of the grave badger. After this, the matter of wolf attack was dismissed. On the information of the wolf, the forest department team has been camping in the Mansoorganj area for three days.
