A meeting of saints was held in Shri Panchayati Akhara Bada Udasin to organize the birth anniversary of Udasinacharya Lord Shrichandra. Saints from all thirteen Akharas attended the meeting. While chairing the meeting held at the Akhara located in Kankhal, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Bhagwat Swaroop Maharaj said that the 530th birth anniversary of Lord Shrichandra, worshipped by all, will be celebrated with great pomp in the presence of saints from all thirteen Akharas. Many programs including a grand procession and Saint conference will be organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary.
Many dignitaries and devotees from across the country will take part in the programs. Kothari Mahant Raghavendra Das Maharaj said that Lord Shrichandra toured the entire country and united the society by removing the evils prevalent in the society of that time and led it forward on the path of religion and spirituality. He informed that on the occasion of Lord Shrichandra Jayanti, a procession will be taken out from Sri Chandracharya Chowk on 10th September. A Saint Conference will be organized on 12th September in which Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna, Urban Development Minister Premchand Agarwal, MP Trivendra Singh Rawat, Akhada Parishad President Mahant Ravindrapuri will be the chief guests.
Baba Hathyogi said that Lord Shrichandra dispelled ignorance and spread the light of knowledge in society and created an atmosphere of harmony. Mahant Govinddas Maharaj, Mahant Jayendra Muni, Mahant Premdas, Mahant Kaivalyanand and Mahant Muralidas welcomed all the saints by garlanding them and said that Lord Shrichandra is the idol of Shri Panchayati Akhara Bada Udasin and the source of inspiration for the entire saint community.
Everyone should imbibe his teachings and contribute to the propagation of Sanatan Dharma culture and service to humanity. Chief among those present in the meeting were Mahant Bhagatram, Mahant Rupendra Prakash, Mahant Ganga Das Udasin, Mahant Surajdas, Mahant Tirathdas, Mahant Jayendra Muni, Mahamandaleshwar Bhagwat Swaroop, Mahant Bihari Sharan, Mahant Gurmeet Singh, Mahant Raghuveer Das, Swami Kailash Muni, Swami Chidvilasanand, Mahant Mohan Singh, Mahant Sutikshna Muni, Mahant Vinod Maharaj, Swami Kapil Muni. The meeting was conducted by Mahant Jayendra Muni.
