There was a stir in Nahal village of Mussoorie police station area when the body of a girl who had married for love six months back was found hanging from a noose in her house under suspicious circumstances. This information spread like wildfire in the village and villagers started thronging the house of the deceased. On getting the information of the incident, the police along with the forensics team immediately reached the spot and started investigating the entire case. According to eyewitnesses, it is being told that Sania, the 19 year old daughter of Akbar, son of Jamaat Ali, a resident of the same village, had gone against her family and had a love marriage six months back and there was a rift between the husband and wife.
And there were quarrels every day. Both husband and wife had come to live in a rented room in the house of Rais Malik of the village four days ago. Meanwhile, last night at around 3:00 pm, information was received in the village that Sania had died. Whoever got this information immediately started reaching the spot. However, meanwhile Sania’s sister-in-law alleges that 6 months ago the girl had a love marriage with Furkan son of Sharif, a resident of the village. And Furkan used to beat her daughter every day, due to which she died. ASP Naresh Kumar said that in Nahal village, a 19-year-old newly married girl had a love marriage with Furkan son of Sharif 6 months ago and her body was found hanging in her room. However, the forensic team and the police team reached the spot and with the help of the family members, the body was brought down and sent for post-mortem. The entire matter is being investigated.
