An anti-terrorism search operation was launched in Jammu on Monday morning following suspected terror activity near the biggest Army base. According to Defence spokesperson Lt Col Sunil Bartwal, firing took place from a distance between 10 and 10:30 am.
The military base has been sealed for any activity and a search operation has been started. The defense spokesperson said that so far there is no news of any soldier being injured.
