Shravan Sahu murder case: Justice after seven years

In Saadatganj area of the capital, on 16 October 2013, a new petty criminal Akil Ansari, who was one of Mukhtar’s henchmen, was obsessed with extortion on the strength of arms. The incident took place at a beer shop on Campbell Road when Ayush Sahu had gone to drink beer with his friends. But there was only one cold beer there. Ayush immediately took out the money and took the beer but at the same time Akil also reached there and demanded beer but it was in Ayush’s hand. But Akil was probably not used to listening to no like his master. There was a dispute between the two and Akil shot Ayush in the middle of the road. The old father Shravan Sahu kept knocking door to door to get justice for his son but the weak law and order of that time could not provide him protection because many khaki-clad people were also involved in this murder, the spirits of that petty criminal who met them were high. And on the basis of this, he was breaking Shravan Sahu with threats and conspiracies. But when he failed to stop them, in 2017, when Shravan Sahu was sitting in his shop doing his accounts, he shot him and silenced him forever. Anyway, the matter reached the CBI on the orders of the court and the investigation continued in which after about seven years, on Thursday, the criminals Aqeel Ansari, Satyam Patel, Aman Singh, Vivek Verma, Babu Khan, Faisal, Ajay Patel, Rohit Mishra were sentenced to life imprisonment and fined Rs 1 lakh each.
