An encounter took place between security forces and terrorists in Rafiabad area of Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Security forces have killed one terrorist. At present, security forces have cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation. According to sources, some terrorists may still be hiding. The identity of the killed terrorist cannot be ascertained yet. The police is busy identifying him.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a supplementary chargesheet in the Land for Jobs case. A hearing on this was held today in the Special Court of Rouse Avenue, Delhi. The decision on the summons of 11 accused including Lalu, Tejashwi has been postponed. Now the hearing in this case will be held on 7 September.
In this case, 96 new documents were also presented by the investigating agency on August 13. Special Judge Vishal Gogane had listed the case on August 24 for verification of chargesheet and documents.
Before the Bihar assembly elections, JDU has started preparing itself. After deciding the responsibility of the national team on Friday, a big action was taken at the state level on Saturday. The party first dissolved all its state level committees. Then within an hour, a new organization was also formed.
Earlier, the number of members of the state working committee and political advisory committee was more than 500. Now it has been reduced to just 115. In the new committee, 10 vice presidents, 49 general secretaries, 46 secretaries, 9 spokespersons and one treasurer have been appointed. Umesh Kushwaha will remain the state president of the party.
A private company’s helicopter going from Mumbai to Vijayawada crashed in Pune’s Paud area on Saturday. The helicopter had a pilot and three passengers on board. The pilot and three people were injured in the accident, although they are safe. This helicopter belonged to a global company in Mumbai. It is believed that the helicopter crashed due to technical fault. Heavy rain is also believed to be the reason behind the accident.
