After the order of the High Court double bench, the candidates of the reserved category are continuously agitating for the demand of appointment under the 69 thousand teacher recruitment. All these candidates are continuously gheraoing the residences of ministers and leaders one after the other. In the same sequence, the residence of BJP state president Bhupendra Chaudhary was gheraoed on Wednesday. The candidates who reached here in large numbers raised slogans and demanded to follow the decision of the High Court double bench and give appointment.

Amarendra Patel, who is leading the agitation and protest, said that we are also gheraoing the residences of OBC and SC class leaders and ministers so that they meet the Chief Minister and resolve this issue as soon as possible. All of us candidates have been wandering on the streets for the last four years. Now that the court’s decision has come, it should be followed.

Amarendra told that this recruitment process started in the year 2018. When its result came, injustice was done to the candidates of reserved category on a large scale and they were denied jobs. After going through a long agitation and judicial process, on August 13, the double bench of Lucknow High Court has given a verdict in the interest of the candidates of reserved category and ordered the appointment of candidates by following the rules. But the government is making excuses in this matter. We want the government to resolve this matter as soon as possible and issue a schedule to tell when we victims are being appointed.

He said that the court has cancelled the original selection list of 69 thousand teacher recruitment and ordered the government to issue a new list within three months following the reservation rules. But the government has not started any work yet, it has only held a meeting. Our demand is that the government should issue the schedule of our selection process.
