According to the information, the country’s biggest exam for UP Police Constable Recruitment is starting today in two shifts. The state government has put in all its efforts to ensure that the exam is conducted fairly and without any problems. While the district administration has made full-proof planning for the exam at the exam centers, the police and other investigation agencies have made a complete strategy to nab the mafia and Munna Bhais who may create obstacles in the exam. In this episode, before the exam was disrupted, five people were detained from Gorakhpur in UP for suspicious activities.

According to information received from sources, the Special Task Force (STF) in Gorakhpur has arrested a woman constable from Bansgaon police station on the basis of suspicion. Three other people have been detained along with her. Admit cards of police exam recruitment candidates of five people have been found in the mobile recovered from the woman constable. The woman constable is saying that all of them are her relatives. One of the accused in custody is said to be from Delhi. During interrogation, he is said to have come to Gorakhpur from Delhi to take money. The young man had befriended the woman constable through social media. The woman constable is said to be a resident of Bansgaon in Gorakhpur and is currently posted in Shravasti. Interrogation of the accused is going on at STF and Police Bansgaon police station.

Police constable recruitment exam is starting today in two shifts. The police administration has issued helpline numbers to ensure that the exam is conducted in a completely fair manner and the candidates do not face any kind of problem. The state headquarters has issued helpline numbers 0522—2611117 and 2611118 and 2611119. Candidates have been appealed to inform about any problem through the helpline number. The police exam will start from Friday, 23 August and will be completed in two shifts on 24, 25 and 30, 31. 48 lakh 17 thousand 441 candidates from 27 states and eight union territories will participate in it. Apart from UP, about 6,30,481 candidates from other states are participating in this exam. 1174 centers have been set up in 67 districts of UP to conduct the exam. About nine lakh 60 thousand candidates will appear in the exam on the first day. Legal steps have been taken to conduct the examination without cheating, including CCTVs at the centres. Monitoring is also being done from the DGP headquarters. Along with the police, the STF and intelligence agencies are keeping a close watch.
