On the basis of NEET UG exam score, one can take admission in MBBS course in medical colleges in the country after 12th. Counseling for admission in medical colleges will start from August 14. On the basis of NEET UG score, one can also take admission in BDS, Ayurveda, Homeopathy (AYUSH) courses, paramedical and pharmacy courses in dental colleges.
There is also a separate entrance exam for admission in some pharmacy colleges in the country.
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad (NIPER)
This institute is one of the seven schools under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.
There are 9 departments like Biological Sciences, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutics, Pharmacoinformatics, Natural Products.
Courses: After graduation in Pharmacy, one can do MS (Pharm.) in 8 departments like Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Regulatory Toxicology, Pharmacoinformatics. Apart from this, one can take admission in courses like MBA (Pharm.) in Pharmaceutical Management, MTech Medical Devices, MTech Pharm Pharmaceutical Technology (Process Chemistry), PhD and Integrated PhD. There is no course for graduation after 12th in this institute.
Jamia Hamdard University, Delhi
It is a deemed to be university of the Government of India. There are 10 different departments like School of Medical Sciences and Research, School of Unani Medical Education and Research, School of Nursing Sciences and Allied Health, School of Management and Business Studies, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Law.

Courses: Here you can take admission in 4 years integrated first degree program after 12th. Apart from this there is also a 2 year MPharm course.
How to get admission: To get admission in BPharm after 12th, it is necessary to qualify BITSAT entrance test.
JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty
This is a private college. There are total 7 departments like Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacy Practice.
Courses: Here you can take admission in three types of BPharm, DPharm, MPharm in 10 different specializations, PG Diploma in 9 subjects and PhD program.

This is a government institute. It has got the status of deemed university. Apart from Mumbai, it also has campuses in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar and Maharashtra’s Marathawad Jalna. The institute has 13 different departments like Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technology.
Courses: From here you can do BTech and BPharm courses in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology. Apart from this, one can take admission in two different types of MPharm, MTech in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Multi Disciplinary Minor Course in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology.
