The first match of the Test series is being played between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Rawalpindi. By lunch on the fourth day of the match, host Pakistan is ahead by 59 runs. However, Bangladesh has scored 389 runs after losing 6 wickets. Litton Das, who had scored a fifty for the team, was dismissed by Naseem Shah for 56 runs.
Mushfiqur Rahim’s Century
Mushfiqur Rahim batted brilliantly for Bangladesh and scored a century before lunch. He is currently unbeaten on 101 runs. Mehdi Hasan Miraz is currently at the crease with him, scoring 17 runs. From Pakistan, Khurram Shahzad and Naseem Shah took 2-2 wickets. Mohammad Ali and Sam Ayub got one wicket each. Pakistan declared its first innings on the score of 448/6 on the second day.
Shadman-Mominul made a fifty partnership
Opener Shadman Islam again took charge of the innings with Mominul Haque. Both of them took the team past the 100-run mark. Mominul was dismissed after scoring 50 runs and his 94-run partnership with Shadman was broken. He was sent to the pavilion by Khurram Shahzad, who had also bowled Shanto. Shadman Islam was dismissed after scoring 93 runs.
Shakib got out cheaply, Litton-Mushfiqur took over
Part time spinner Sam Ayub got veteran Shakib Al Hasan caught out. Shakib could score only 15 runs. The team lost 5 wickets at a score of 218 runs. From here Mushkifur Rahim and Litton Das took over the team.
