Gang rape is being claimed in the trainee doctor rape and murder case at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. Dr. Suvarna Goswami, Additional Secretary of the All India Government Doctors Association, has said that he has read the post-mortem report.
He said that the PM report mentions that 151 grams of liquid (semen) was found from the private part of the trainee doctor. Such a large quantity cannot belong to a single person. There is every possibility that more than one person may be involved in the rape case.
At the same time, resident doctors of RG Kar Medical College have alleged that the hospital administration is tampering with evidence. They shared the video and said – The office of the Chest Department is being vandalized at a distance of 20 meters from the seminar hall. Evidence is being tampered with in the name of renovation in front of the police.
On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has given a statement 5 days after the incident. He said that instead of providing justice to the victim, efforts are being made to save the accused. This raises serious questions on the hospital and the local administration.
He said that the culprits should be given such punishment that it becomes an example to stop such incidents in the society.
