In a round table meeting with the CEOs of America’s renowned technology companies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will be the third largest economy in the world in five years. We will achieve this target in our third term. Today our electronics sector is more than $150 billion. Our target is to take it to $500 billion by 2030.
During his visit to America, Prime Minister Modi said here that to achieve these goals, India is ready to cooperate with the industry as much as possible. There are more than 500 million working people in India. The youth of the country is taking a lot of interest in STEAM studies. Especially daughters are moving ahead in these fields. Training and upscaling of youth is very important today.
He said that for the last 10 years, India has been moving ahead with the mantra of reform, perform and transform. Today’s India dreams ambitious dreams. It also makes every effort to fulfil them. The 21st century is technology driven. Therefore, a balance between technology and democracy is very important. The combination of democratic values and technology guarantees human welfare. India has talent, democracy and market. Such a golden opportunity is rare.
