16 children were injured when a truck and a school van collided near Devna Chowk on National Highway No. 31 in Begusarai district on Thursday morning, two of whom are in critical condition.
According to the police, the Mount Carmel School vehicle was carrying 16 children to school. During this time, the school van collided with a truck. All the children in the school van were injured.
According to eyewitnesses, there is a cut point where the accident happened. The school bus was going in the right direction when it was hit by a truck coming from behind. Refinery police station in-charge Amarjeet Prasad reached the spot and admitted all the injured children to the nearby Global Hospital. Where after primary treatment, 14 children were sent home. The condition of two children is critical and they are undergoing treatment.
