The indefinite sit-in protest of the farmers demanding the removal of ADO Panchayat was postponed on the 24th day on the assurance of the CDO. The CDO has assured the farmers of completing the investigation in three days and taking action.
The indefinite dharna demonstration of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Tikait) demanding the removal of ADO Panchayat Brijesh Singh at Jarwal Block Headquarters was postponed on the 24th day on the assurance of Chief Development Officer Mukesh Chandra. CDO Mukesh Chandra, DPRO Raghavendra Dwivedi, Deputy Director Agriculture T.P. Shahi, SDM Alok Prasad and CO Anil Singh, who reached the dharna site to talk to the farmers, talked to the protesting farmers. There was also a clash between the CDO and the farmers.
The farmers were adamant on their demand to remove ADO Panchayat Brijesh Singh. State Secretary of BKU Om Prakash Verma said that the CDO has assured action after completing the investigation in three days. On this occasion, SHO Jarwal Road Brijraj Prasad, Outpost Incharge Rana Raj Singh, Madhyanchal Zone General Secretary Mohanlal Verma, District President Ram Kumar Verma, Joginder Pehelwan, Pappu Munshi, Bafati, Ramraj Singh, Ramsamujh Nishad, Ramkishore Verma, Phoolchand Verma and hundreds of people were present.
