Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh Obaidul Hasan has announced his resignation. Protesting students surrounded the Supreme Court on Saturday morning demanding his resignation. The protesters had gathered there in large numbers. The students said, “If the judges do not resign, they will be pulled out of their chairs like Hasina.” The protesting students had alleged that the Supreme Court judge was in collusion with Hasina.

These judges called a meeting of the entire court on Saturday without asking the interim government. Due to this meeting, the protesters demanded the resignation of the judges within an hour.

At the same time, since Hasina’s resignation, incidents of violence, looting and arson have increased in Bangladesh. Hindu Jagran Manch demonstrated against them in Dhaka on Friday.

According to the Bengali newspaper Dhaka Tribune, thousands of people gathered at Shahbagh Chowk and raised their voice against the violence. They also raised slogans of Hare Krishna-Hare Rama.

Rebuild The Temples Destroyed In Violence

Protesters in Dhaka said that four Hindu villages had been burnt in Dinajpur. People have become destitute and are forced to live in hiding. Attacks on the Hindu community have increased in Bangladesh since Sheikh Hasina left the country.

During the protest, the Hindu community demanded the establishment of a Minority Ministry, formation of a Minority Protection Commission, making strict laws to stop attacks against minorities and keeping 10 percent seats for minorities in Parliament.

The protesters also demanded compensation for those affected by the violence. Apart from this, there was also a demand to rebuild the demolished temples. The protesters said they were born in this country. This is the land of their ancestors. This country is equally theirs. Even if he is killed here, he will still not leave his birthplace Bangladesh. Will remain on the streets to get their rights.
