The political confusion that was going on for the last several days regarding the former Chief Minister of the state Champai Soren came to an end on Tuesday. Champai Soren will join BJP on August 30. He confirmed this while talking to the media in Delhi on Tuesday.
Champai Soren said that earlier when he came here on 18th, he had given his opinion. Earlier I had thought of taking retirement but later seeing the enthusiasm of the public and workers and their demand, I thought that I will remain actively in politics. Then I thought of forming a new organization but due to lack of time and the different situation of Jharkhand state, after thinking, I decided to join the Bharatiya Janata Party. My faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah has increased. My son Babulal Soren will also join BJP with me.
No matter what anyone says, we don’t think it’s appropriate to respond to it
On the future plan, Champai Soren said that he is going to Jharkhand tomorrow (28 August). On the second question, he said that I have struggled a lot in Jharkhand. My history is as clear as a mirror. Therefore, no matter what anyone says, we do not consider it appropriate to respond to it, but we will join the BJP. On Babulal Marandi’s displeasure, Champai said that we will not say anything about that.
After returning from Delhi, Hemant Soren will resign from all posts including the cabinet and primary membership of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Champai Soren will join BJP by holding a big rally in Ranchi. Meanwhile, the central government has increased the security of Champai Soren. He has been given Z Plus category security. He will get Z Plus security as soon as he returns from Delhi. Now 33 soldiers will be deployed for the security of Champai Soren.
Earlier on Monday, he had met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. During this, Assam Chief Minister Himata Biswa Sarma and Champai’s son Babulal Soren were also present. After this meeting, Himata Biswa Sarma confirmed this on social media.
