District Magistrate Abhishek Anand on Monday inaugurated the training session of newly appointed Lekhpals at the Lekhpal Training Center located at Government Inter College, Sitapur. In this training center, 70 Lekhpals will be provided theoretical training for the next 6 months. On this occasion, the District Magistrate congratulated and wished all the Lekhpals undergoing training and motivated them to receive the training with full dedication, devotion and passion and also get proper information about all the rules and government orders. If there is any doubt in any context, immediately resolve it with experienced trainers. Complete your entire course on time and revise it.

The District Magistrate said that the Lekhpal is an important part of the Revenue Department. By being in direct contact with the public, the role of the Lekhpal becomes very important in taking the government schemes to the public, resolving complaints and problems in a quality manner, as well as in relief and rescue work in case of disaster. Therefore, while keeping a sense of service towards the public, discharge your duties and responsibilities with full honesty. The District Magistrate said that good work is always appreciated by the administration and full support is also provided to them, but there is a provision to punish those who do negligence, wrong conduct and ill-treat the public, etc. Therefore, all should work with discipline and responsibility while doing the work of the public faithfully and behaving well. 

In the training session, Additional District Magistrate Nitish Kumar Singh said that Lekhpal is the backbone of the revenue system. During disasters, a very important role is played in management. While motivating them to take full advantage of the training session, he said that knowledge is the biggest power due to which a person becomes entitled to get respect at every place and also avoids mistakes made during service. 

On this occasion, Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Gyanendra Dwivedi, Principal Accountant Training Centre Vinod Kumar Singh, Tehsildar Sadar Balkrishna Singh, Principal G.I.C. Anil Kumar and other concerned officers were present.
